A strenuous but rewarding day hike from Godawari Botanical Gardens up through oak and rhododendron forest to Phulchoki summit — 1,300 m of climbing with panoramic views from Langtang to Dhaulagiri on clear days. No national park permit required. A small community/forest entry fee of approximately NPR 50–100 may be collected at the trailhead. Carry small cash.
