What to do
From the end of the Kande road, hike 40 minutes up to Australian Camp (2,100 m) — the easiest close-range Annapurna viewpoint — then continue along the ridge trail to Naudanda village through Gurung farmland with Machhapuchhre directly ahead. Return by road or arrange a jeep pickup at Naudanda.
Cycle the 'Sky Road' from Pokhara via Hemja, climb to Kande (6 km, 600 m gain), ride the mostly flat ridge to Naudanda and Lumle, then descend via Khare back to Pokhara. Roughly 60 km with one major climb; completely sealed road with Annapurna and Machhapuchhre filling the north horizon for the entire ridge section.
A 100 km sealed-road motorbike loop: Pokhara → Hemja → Kande → Naudanda ridge → Lumle → Kusma bridge → Baglung road → return via Nayapul → Pokhara. Passes all the classic Annapurna foothills, the Kaligandaki gorge entry, and optional side-trip to Kushma adventure park. The best single-day motorbiking circuit from Pokhara.
